Back to the blog
It's been almost a year that I haven't put any word on this blog on which I've once dreamed of filling every piece of emotional mind.
The recent major activity is about my job. As I mentioned on twitter (http://twitter.com/jonoson), the company I worked for is the company who claimed he can dance but never dance at all. Some of you might know what I implicitly mean. Not to mention, I'm not going to say the name for the self-protection purpose.
I always wantted to be a salesperson while spending two years on grepping advanced knowledge of business, trading, etc, in International Trade Institude. After graduated last June, the troublesome economy and labr market pushed me to face the reality of my technical background and personality. The chance of the Web Architect position was the best chance to earn the ticket into an global large corporate, where I still have the opportunity to use my language ability.
It is interesting at the beginning as the fact that it is about web, about my interest, and about my expertise. It is also about a motivation by which I could earn much more opportunities after having the experiences in such a global company.

Nancrede Family
In the north of the downtown of Indianapolis, Nancrede Family have lived there more than 30 years. If you look from the outside of the yard, you can't really see the house very clearly. The backyard is just like a forest.
Those are different views of the Nancrede's backyard. There is a colony like a cafe where people may sit outside, have some coffee, and enjoy a comfortable Saturday afternoon here.
Balmart and Sasha live in this house, too. They are Great Pyrenees, a kind of sheep dogs for guarding sheep in old times. Unfortunately, they never take bath, and they do live "IN" the house.
Balmart is drinking water from the pool.
David and Sally Nancrede are very kind and lovely people. As my home-stay parents, they took care of me and one of my classmate very well. Every feast in the evening was just like in a restaurant. Delicious.

Foot Loose
Casey Wilson, a friend of mine in the Silouan Green, had a performance in a church named First United Methodist Church close to Nobleville in Indianapolis. This is an opera show called "Foot Loose", played by high school students in the church. The show is identical to the movie "Foot Loose". Casey is in the ban playing music for the show. He is really good.

Chicago, the city of passion
I have to confess that before I came to Chicago, I didn't expect too much of this city. "Chicago? Isn't it another big city in the US?" Yes, and no. Yes, Chicago is a big city, full of skyscrapers gathering in the Loop area. No, Chicago is not like other busy cities. It is clean, neat and comfortable.
The Bean of Chicago in the Millennium Park reflects the surrounding skyscrapers and myself, just like being in a painting. The Bean is made of steel, without a seal on the surface. I almost lost myself when I stood under the big bean and was surrounded by all the reflections. It was an amazing experience.
The sunshine of dusk reflected on the glass of buildings along the Chicago River, composed a sky mixed with pink and blue.
Most of the buildings in Chicago are built in 1900 or so. Therefore, many of the new buildings tend to be built resembling old style. The whole city produces a 20th century feelings but with modern skyscrapers and fancy status.
Chicago is beautiful, but not includes the part of subway and elevated trains. It is made in metal and steel. You will hear a huge noise if you walk under the elevated track, especially the turning corner. Mainly because it is built almost a hundred years ago, the old-fashion and noisy elevated train is not match the neat and organized city at all, a contrary of modern and history.
A public work of Picasso. Miro, the other status standing across the street, says it was a women.
Night view from the sky deck in John Hancock Building, a better view than from the Sears Tower. We saw the whole Loop area and just above the Magnificent Mile, also named the Michigan Ave. We are on the 82nd floor and watched the most busy area of Chicago at night. It was about 9:00pm, when the sun just moved out of the sight and the sky just turned dark.

The beauty of Indiana
There was one day I was driving my classmates home but got lost in the middle of nowhere close to Greenwood, Indianapolis. After a while, the beautiful scenery suddenly appeared in front of me. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing ground with huge flat farm and forest. The aroma of the earth awoke me. I was enjoying the lost in the countryside.
Even though Indianapolis is a city, if it goes to the countryside, that will be a different kind of beauty. The sunshine of the afternoon makes the breeze of Indiana warm. Now I realize what is the real flat and huge ground after I saw the scenery of those great farms.
A barn with a red root is standing under the sunshine in the countryside of Indianapolis, close to the Greenwood. Crops are still underground or haven't been grown yet. But those Hoosiers' magnificent yard are already covered by green in the blue sky.
